Clover Digital LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website cloverdigital.com and the Clover AI assistant service ("Clover"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our site or use our services, including the Google, Microsoft and Dropbox accounts you choose to connect to Clover (see Connected Accounts).
Information you provide: When you fill out a contact form, schedule a call, or email us, we collect your name, email address, business name, selected tasks, and any details you include in your message. Phone number and industry are optional on our intake form.
Information collected automatically: When you visit our site, we may collect standard web analytics data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring website. We use this to understand how people find and use our site.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
Our intake form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect automated submissions. Verified submissions are processed by a Supabase-hosted function and sent to our team through Resend. We retain the resulting email for handling your inquiry. The delivery ledger stores a random receipt identifier, keyed hashes, and timestamps to limit abuse and prevent duplicate delivery; it does not store your form contents. Ledger entries expire after seven days and are removed when the next verified submission is processed. Form contents and verification tokens are not included in our analytics events.
When business autocomplete is available and you type at least three characters, your query text is sent to Google Places to return suggestions. Suggestion text is displayed only while you use the form and is not included in our analytics, application logs, or durable submission payload. If you select a suggestion, we retain only its Google Place ID with the business and industry values you entered. You can ignore suggestions and enter the business manually. Google's handling of query data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can choose to connect a Google, Microsoft 365 or Dropbox account so Clover can work in it for you. You connect through that provider's own sign-in screen, which lists what Clover is asking to access, and you decide whether to allow it. Clover never sees your password. Google, Microsoft and Dropbox do not endorse Clover.
What Clover can access. Depending on what you approve:
Actions that reach other people or remove items. Clover sends email from your Gmail or Outlook account only after you approve that specific message. Sharing a Google Drive file, moving a Drive file to the trash, changing or deleting a Google Calendar event, and creating a Google Calendar event with other attendees also need your approval of that specific action. Clover posts in Teams only to the chats and channels you've allowed, sends Outlook meeting invitations only if you've turned that on, and creates OneDrive or SharePoint sharing links only when you ask for one. Clover moves email to the trash or spam only under the cleanup rules you set, and you can recover it from there. Clover never permanently deletes your email or files. When you ask, Clover can copy items between the accounts you've connected, such as saving an email attachment into your Dropbox folder.
How we use it. We use data from your connected accounts only to do the work you ask Clover to do, to show you the results, and to check that the work was done correctly. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, use it to build profiles about you, or use it to decide credit or lending.
AI processing. To understand your requests and do the work, Clover sends the relevant parts of this data to the AI service providers that generate its responses, acting on our behalf. We don't use data from your connected accounts, including data obtained through Google Workspace APIs, to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. We use AI providers under terms that don't allow them to train their models on it.
Who else processes it. Our hosting providers and the AI service providers described above process this data on our behalf to run Clover. We don't share or transfer it to anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
People. Clover Digital staff don't read your connected-account data unless you ask us to for a specific item (for example, to fix a problem), we need to for security or abuse investigation, or the law requires it.
Security. Data moving between your provider, Clover and our AI providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. The sign-in authorization each provider issues is kept on access-restricted servers, used only by Clover's own systems, and never given to AI providers. Access to our systems is limited to the people and services that need it to run Clover.
Keeping and deleting it. While your account is connected, Clover keeps the sign-in authorization the provider issued, the results of work you asked for, and its conversation history with you, which can include excerpts from your connected accounts. You can remove Clover's access at any time: for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, for Microsoft at myapps.microsoft.com (work or school accounts) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (personal accounts), and for Dropbox at dropbox.com/account/connected_apps. Once you remove access, Clover can no longer reach that account. To have us delete the connected-account data we hold for you, email hello@cloverdigital.com and we will delete it within 30 days. We also delete it within 30 days after your Clover service ends.
Google API Services User Data Policy. Clover Digital's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Our site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to view our site.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Our site uses HTTPS encryption for all connections.
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at hello@cloverdigital.com.
